Nutrition coach Kirsty Groves

why you’ll LOVE working with me

My unique approach blends integrative nutrition with health coaching.

I help my clients get great results using an approach that includes:

Coaching

We will set manageable goals together. Along the way, I will provide encouragement, curiosity when things don’t work, praise, and celebration.

mindset

I will help you achieve your objectives. We will work on your mindset to tackle limiting beliefs, cultivate new outlooks, and overcome obstacles.

INTEGRATIVE NUTRITION

Nutrition goes beyond what we eat - it’s the nourishment of body, mind, and spirit. We will focus on all areas of your life so you can feel great at 360°.

Personalised therapy

We won’t follow a generic protocol - I will design a plan around you, taking into account your lifestyle, environment, needs, and preferences.

FUNCTIONAL MEDICINE

I conduct rigorous clinical research to look beyond your symptoms and find the root cause(s) of your health issues, so we can address them.

EPIGENETICS

Life experiences and our environment affect our health. I will help you improve your epigenetic “signature” by helping you adjust stress levels, sleep, and more.

Self-empowerment

I will explain the reasons behind any recommendations and equip you with the tools to achieve and sustain your goals beyond our time together.

A bit more about me

I’m a registered Nutritional Therapist and Health Coach on a mission to empower people suffering from psoriasis and digestive issues to revolutionise their health.

There’s a strong link between skin health, gut health, and stress. And even though research supports it, many people are still relying on symptom management treatments, like steroids and PPIs. While these can help you feel better when having a severe flare-up, they don’t address the root cause. So you become dependent on them.

I’m committed to showing people living with psoriasis and digestive problems that integrative nutrition is the best long-term management strategy.

I’m here to help you understand your body and take control of your health.

My story

I’m a single mother, trail runner, trauma survivor, cook, nature lover, and allotmenteer.

I know first-hand that nutrition can revolutionise your health. I developed psoriasis in my 30s, when I was juggling studying full-time and caring for two young children alone. The chronic stress manifested as painful plaques all over my body.

I used topical creams and embraced a healthy lifestyle to take the edge off my psoriasis for many years. But it wasn’t until I used Nutritional Therapy to identify my unique triggers that I saw the plaques and redness disappear.

I’m now 99% psoriasis-free: if I indulge in some trigger foods or neglect stress management, my scar areas flare up. Learning how to manage my psoriasis has improved every aspect of my life. I’m more confident and energetic than ever; I feel I can face any challenge. I want that for you, too.

My life has been shadowed by childhood trauma, PTSD, disordered eating, and multiple adverse events. So, whatever you’re going through, I’m confident I can empathise. I offer a safe space where you will be heard and acknowledged.

My commitment to you is to listen with compassion and guide you on your path back to health.

  • “I struggled with IBS for years but after a bout of food poisoning it became even worse. The gentle dietary adjustments Kirsty recommended brought improvements I never thought possible. She made everything so clear and easy to understand and follow, and the check-ins really helped me feel supported. I can’t thank her enough; I only wish I had found her sooner.”

    PATRICIA, 76

  • I owe a debt of gratitude to Kirsty; her guidance and encouragement were key to my recovery from major surgery and long-term therapy. The results were astonishing. I feel stronger and more resilient, and even my surgeon was amazed at my progress.”

    JOHN, 65

  • “Despite trying to read about and practice managing stress and menopause symptoms, I was at my wits’ end, dealing with a midlife crisis. Kirsty explored this in depth with me and we made tweaks to my regime that I thought was already healthy. The changes in my weight, energy and mood were really incredible and I didn’t have a sense of missing out but a new perspective!”
